General  FAQ

Q: How do I get a copy of the zine?

A:  The zine is available for purchase for $5 through our GoFundMe page here.

Q: I purchased the zine/a shirt/a print, when will it arrive?

A: If you purchased the zine it will be emailed to you on Thursday, April 20th. Any physical merchandise will be sent within the next week and it's arrival time will depend on your location/shipping.

Q: I am busy Thursday, April 20th, can I still see the art?

A: Definitely! The art will be up on exhibit at #Hashtag Gallery Friday, April 21 through Sunday April 22. It will also be published in our online zine.

Q: What time does the event start? Do you allow latecomers?

A: The doors for the event open at 8pm sharp. Any arrival before 8pm will have to wait outside the space. The first band will go on at 9pm, all set times will be announced the morning of the event on our Facebook page. Any ticket holders can arrive at any time during the evening. If you are planning on purchasing your ticket at the door entrance will be subject to capacity. You can buy advance tickets for $10 here. Otherwise they are $15 cash only at the door.

Q: Should I bring cash?

A: Yes! We will have beverages as well as Audio/Visible branded merchandise and artist prints for sale. Credit/Debit is only accepted for large purchases (ie full-size exhibited art pieces).

Q: Why does the event cost $10?

A: The cost of the ticket goes towards paying our artists and musicians. We strongly believe musicians and artists should always be paid for their time and talent.

Q: How do I get to #Hashtag Gallery?

A: #Hashtag Gallery is located at 830 Dundas Street West, just west of Bathurst.

Via TTC it is accessible by either the Dundas streetcar (connects to the University-Spadina subway line) or the Bathurst streetcar (connects to the Bloor line). You can use the TTC trip planner for more detailed instructions from your location.

Q: Is there street parking?

A: There is parking available on Dundas and on nearby side streets, it is paid. Check out the green P website for rates and information.

Q: Can children attend the launch event?

A: Though we aren't barring children from attending, we recommend they come on Friday, Saturday, or Sunday to check out the art. The event will have loud music and alcohol will be served. The bands that are playing use language that may not be appropriate for children.

Q: When does the launch party end?

A: 2:30am.
